If you become unemployed, you need to get a number of things in order to receive benefits. Follow the steps below to work with your ABVV file manager to get your benefits in order as soon as possible.
1. Register with the VDAB
1. Register yourself as a jobseeker with the VDAB within 8 days!
It is very important that you do this as your first task. Without this registration your application can NOT be started.
You can do this by telephone on 0800 30 700 or via the website www.vdab.be.
Upon registration, you will receive a receipt.
TIP: Do not wait until you have received your C4. It is best to do this immediately after your last working day.
2. Make an appointment with one of our file managers
After you have completed your registration with the VDAB, we can start up your file. Preferably make an appointment for this in your nearest office.
